Man Stabbed
Brampton man rushed to hospital after being stabbed Monday morning near Williams Parkway and Kennedy Rd. Peel Regional Police believe a fight between two men broke out. Victim survives. No arrests are made. Detectives believe they know who was the stabber.

Highway Crash
man brought to hospital with minor injuries Monday morning (5am) after crash on DVP. Motorist lost control of behicle in southbound lanes, striking centre median near Don Mills Rd. Second car traveling behind struck the stopped car. First driver charged with impaired driving.

Shooting Investigation
man sent to St. Michael’s Hospital after shot several times. Shots rang out near Dundas St. West and Manning Ave. (11:45pm Sun.)

Canada Beat U.S. to First Thanksgiving
Canada has been celebrating the holiday a lot longer than our southern neighbours. In 1901 and 1904, it was on a Thursday in November. Between 1908 and 1921, it was moved to a Monday in October. Automotive Attack
man run over by two men in a car outside of sick kids hospital, may have been on purpose, man in with serious injuries.

Awful Accident
43 year-old mother is dead, 13 year old son in serious condition at hospital. Woman failed to stop in time for read light and was hit Jetta. Vehicles collided, woman flew out of her car and pronounced dead at scene. Woman’s two other children were also in the van when crash happened.

Building Blaze
three-alarm fire breaks out at west-end highrise building, flames erupted at around 2:30am. Residents took shelter in T.T.C. bus at the scene.

4-Year-Old Boy Abducted In Front Of His Home
Young boy lured away from front of his home by a man treating him with a candy bar on Saturday. Relative of family noticed the boy walking down the street with the strange man and called 911 for immediate help. Boy found in basement of man. Man charged for kidnapping and abduction.

from Afghanistan to India, the earth shakes. Shakes went on for a long time. Earthquake had magnitude at 7.7. 10-story building collapsed, one young survivor was found. Most of the time, they are removing dead bodies. 18,000 pronounced dead tonight. Canadian government has donated $300,000 dollars in earthquake relief effort so far.

Air Canada Centre
leaf’s fans cheering for Toronto maple’s leafs for a win. Rivalries drive hockey fans. Bars filled with numerous fans.

Regent Park Shooting
near parliament and Dundas St., police need help to find shooter who may have left man paralyzed for life. (9pm last night), victim shot in neck, suspect fled away on bicycle.

Anti-Violence Forum
150 people came out to meeting to come up with ideas to help crack crimes in neighbourhoods.

Candlelight Vigil
mourning for little boy who fell out of window and died. Gary Henry died from falling out of seventh floor window of his apartment. (6 years old).

No New Deaths Reported
no new deaths at scar borough nursing home: seven Oaks nursery home. 42 people still being treated in hospital tonight, disease was detected as a form of pneumonia.

Crash Injures 2
two people treated in hospital for crash on east side of Toronto. Accident caused one car to crash into a nearby house.

Operation Impact
plane is on loan to police to crack down on unsafe vehicles, speeders, and extreme drivers. Helped capture suspended motorcyclist doing 210 km/h and cutting dangerously in rain.

Fallen Hero
firefighter dead from disease. Fought cancer and Arkansas that broke through in most firefighters. Family and 200 firefighters from all over the province paid tribute to the fireman. (Robs) Died because of work sickness. Chemicals ingested by firefighters today when fighting fires face stronger and more dangerous chemicals than in the past. Robs death is first line of duty death in Richmond Hill in 35 years.

Final Farewell
Alicia Ross (1980-2005). 1500 people came out to say their final farewells to Alicia Ross. Sharon (mother) thanks community and family. Memorial fundraiser is set up for Alicia Ross. Neighbour charged with second degree murder.

Operation Impact
with help of plane in sky, police charge 160 drivers for speeding and reckless driving. Most drivers appreciate the new idea of using patrol plane.

Right Of Way?
Queen and John intersection nearly hitting pedestrians when turning. Driver’s not paying enough attention to pedestrians crossing street. 19 pedestrian deaths recorded this year. Most recent, 15 year old hit and killed after getting off bus. Endangering lives of pedestrians can get $110 fine and 3 points taken off.
Ruby Thompson – 83 year old woman mugged in her wheelchair. Donations rally to help her get a $6000 wheelchair. Double amputee very overwhelmed by communities reaction of helping her.

Seven Oaks Nursing Home
17th person dead from nursing home due to water disease.

Fighting Back
One person complained about mural created on middle of street and entire team showed up ready to destroy the mural. Community supporters say mural brings community together, unity. Local artist heard city wants to destroy mural that he and local kids created just because one person complained about it, he will be seeing city council next week.
